The Scents That Make My House Feel Like Home

There are little things that can change how a home feels. Opening the windows. Putting flowers on the table. Lighting a candle before you settle in for the evening.

Scent is one of those little things for me. I love walking into a room that smells welcoming, but I also want to feel thoughtful about the products I use in my home.

For everyday fragrance, I use a Pura diffuser. I like being able to choose a scent that suits the season and set a schedule so the fragrance is there when I want it. Pura says its fragrances are made without ingredients including parabens and phthalates.

And when I want to slow down for a moment, I light a Feather + Finn candle. It’s a small ritual I love, especially on a cozy New England evening.
